Based at the old School Room in Edington, Somerset, covering all villages in the Polden Hills district, but centred on Edington, Catcott, Chilton Polden and Burtle.
The Group was founded in 2006, to carry on the work of the Edington Village Archive Group, which had been set up as part of the Millenium celebrations, to collect, research, study and share relevant information about or relevant to the history of the villages.
Talks are held most months (See Events tab).

A newsletter is circulated, usually about every quarter. Latest edition was September 2018.
